How To BeCome A Chartered Accountant ( CA)


Earlier days there was a situation that many few where graduate from Bsc and B.A, B.com was the very popular stream of the graduation to take up this Chartered Accountants course. But now it is totally changed you can go for the CA after completing your senior secondary examination. There is some different stages which you have to complete to become a finale CA.
              CA Exam is conducted by the ICAI  The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is a statutory body concerned with fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards. The ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the whole world. Below given the steps :



Steps To Become A CA




  • Student who wish to appear for the CA entrance exam, need to clear senior secondary exam (10+2) or is waiting for the 10+2 exam results, can register for the CA programme.
  •  The minimum eligibility criteria for joining the CA course is 10+2 though you can join it even after graduation. 
  • There is no restriction in regard to the age of the candidates. All of you who are awaiting your 10+2 results can also apply for Chartered Accountant Exam. 
  • There are no restrictions with regard to the age of the candidate or marks secured in Senior Secondary Examination for appearing in CA Entrance Exam Paper

CPT

CPT is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course. Student after passing class 10th
examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto. Students can appear in the CPT after appearing in the senior secondary (10+2) examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto. Students after registration to the course are required to complete specified period (i.e. 60 days) from the date of registration to as on the first day of the month in which examination is to be held, i.e., students registered on or before 1st April/1st October will be eligible to appear in June/ December examination, as the case may be.

In the first phase of CPT entrance test the sufficient cut-off mark is 50%. Second, it is Integrated Professional Competence Course which is the inter stage. This examination consists of 7 papers – and this exam can be divided into two Group consisting 4 and 3 papers in each.
Note: To Qualify for the industrial training programme you need to complete the first group any how.if you completed First group and fail in second group the you are eligible for the IT But if you fail in 1st group and qualify in 2nd group the you are not eligible for IT .
Apart from these there are 100 hours of information technology training which includes 35 hours of orientation training. After the inter, you will have to get practical training from a senior auditor which is called as “Article-ship Training”. Now, you can write the final exam either, six months before article-ship training gets over or nine months after you have joined the course. The final exam is held in two groups consisting four papers each, that is 8 papers altogether.
