About NET
NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor
in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs) only.
Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test will be eligible for Lecturers or Assistant Professors
in the SAUs/AUs. NET Certificates will be issued by the ASRB to the qualified candidates to enable
them to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the St a te Agricultural Universities/
Agricultural Universities. SAUs/AUs who will satisfy themselves with regard to fulfillment of
prescribed conditionalities and consider them for the recruitment process for Lecturers/Assistant
Professors.

Examination Details
Qualification : Masters degree or equivalent completed as on or before 1.08.2013
Age limit : 21 years as on 01.8.2013
Fee Detail : Rs.1000/- for general , Rs.500/- for OBC , Rs.250/- for SC/ST
