UPPSC will hold Preliminary exam for the various post of Combined State / Lower Subordinate Service in various centres of Uttar Pradesh.

There are approx. 1200 posts for various subordinate service staff for the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
There is also a special vacancy for 10 posts for Physically handicapped candidates.
Age Limit : Minimum 21 to maximum 40 years as on 01/07/2013, Relaxation given for reserved categories as per Govt.orders.
Qualification : A bachelor's Degree or its equivalent and special qualification for some posts which is given in Advertisement .
How To Apply : Candidate who are eligible for the posts may apply online at UPPSC website at http://uppsc.up.nic.in/Notifications.aspx on or before 21/09/2013 with application fee of Rs.115/- for general and OBC and Rs.55/- for SC/ST in either Punjab National Bank or in State Bank of India through payment challan slip.
Note : Application will be accepted only when fee is deposited in Bank upto prescribed last date for fee deposition. If the fee is deposited in Bank after prescribed last date for fee deposition , the candidature of the candidates will be rejected and application will not be accepted. Fee will not refunded once deposited in Bank.
